Riverside opened in 2004 above what was then a pharmacy. We now have four dentists, two hygienists, a dental technician and a laboratory on the premises, which is why a crown takes eight days here rather than the six weeks it takes when the work is sent abroad.
We treat adults and children from six months old. Nervous patients are welcome and we do not charge more for a longer appointment, because charging someone extra for being frightened is a strange way to run a clinic.
There is no referral needed and no membership. Anybody can book.

What we do
Check ups and hygienist visits, white fillings, root canal treatment, extractions including surgical, crowns and bridges made in our own laboratory, full and partial dentures, teeth whitening, and children's dentistry including fluoride varnish and fissure sealants.
What we do not
We do not place implants, we do not do orthodontics beyond simple retainers, and we do not use general anaesthetic. For implants and braces we refer to a colleague in Dakar and will tell you honestly what the journey involves before you commit to it.
